Independence Day

Today's post is dedicated to Independence Day (U.S.) and will feature work from Penny Collins, webmaster of Raging Bunnies.

Many of us have plans underway for the July 4th holiday. Whether you will be traveling out of town or celebrating at home, please keep your pets in mind. Dogs, cats, rabbits, and other creatures are sensitive to loud noises. So you may want to move them into a quiet room when setting off fireworks outside. Never set off fireworks near your pets. Never stand close to fireworks that have been lighted. Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby in case of an emergency. It's better to be cautious than to have panic. Have a safe and happy 4th of July.

Rabbit Awareness Week

Happy Sunday to all. June 18th - June 26th marked the 10 year anniversary of Rabbit Awareness Week (RAW) in the UK. This cutie here prays that people will now have a better understanding of rabbit behavior and how to care for rabbits.
